Father Winter, Snow Miser, Mr. Ten Below -- a lot of names, don't you think? I prefer Jack. Jack Frost. It's the one the Man in the Moon gave me. He also gave me purpose, so I think I'll trust his judgement.

Elsa runs — propriety be damned — towards the winter spirit as she catches sight of him. Seeing him causes a surge of panic and relief to flood her insides, the former the reason why she advances towards him in the first place. She can barely keep herself together now; she knows it’s bordering stupidity to worry over such trivial matters. But this particular matter is anything but trivial to her, hence why she needs Jack’s help. She pants slightly as she reaches him, her breath coming out in short puffs as her eyes blink back the tears threatening to fall.I lost it, Jack,“ she begins, her composure poorly stitched fragments of cloth. My mother’s necklace — I lost it, and now I can’t find it.

The sound of heels clicking rapidly against the floor is what caught Jack’s attention, and he turned around worriedly. There aren’t many reasons for someone to be running towards a Guardian with an expression like that and he’s ready for trouble, grip tightening instinctively on his staff and feeling even more frost cover the wood. His body’s coiled tight, ready to– find a necklace? Wait, what?

"What does that have to do with me?” he demanded skeptically, raising an eyebrow and twirling his staff idly behind him. He regretted it a moment later, and shook his head. “I–I mean, of course I’ll help you find it, you just had me worried for a second, kiddo. Next time walk, okay?” A light laugh escaped his lips as he ran his fingers through alabaster hair. “Where was the last place you had it?”
