Father Winter, Snow Miser, Mr. Ten Below -- a lot of names, don't you think? I prefer Jack. Jack Frost. It's the one the Man in the Moon gave me. He also gave me purpose, so I think I'll trust his judgement.
One thing I always found really interesting in Jack’s design was how they went completely un-stylized for the irises of his eyes when he was human, making them look like real human irises on closeup (irises look super weird really close) and then had them take on a design that was kind of like a snowflake when he’s Jack Frost.
In a way, it’s almost creepy. Manny revived him and just changed him so utterly, it’s like the whole ice theme was magically imbued into everything he was. He can’t even look in a mirror and see the same eyes staring back.
