VERSE 1: THE GUARDIAN

Canon verse, post-movie. Jack’s a friendly ice spirit with a center of fun whose job it is to travel around the world, changing the seasons and bringing winter to different lands. Somewhere is always in need of a little snow, and luckily, everywhere is also in need of a little fun and games. The snow ball fights are a little bit more interactive now that the children know how to aim for his face, but Jack can’t complain after 300 years of solitude.

VERSE 2: THE SNOW KING

AU, darker!Jack. With no one to see him or hear him, bitterness eventually took his heart and he accepted Pitch’s offer without even being considered for the Guardians. With them defeated however, there’s little need for Jack’s presence at his side, and he resides wherever it’s coldest. He’s completely isolated and alone, and realizes all he wanted to achieve with this — acceptance, acknowledgement — none of it came. His darkness only grows stronger.

VERSE 3: THE CHAMPION

Modern AU. Jack is 20 years old with a deathly fear of ice after falling through it two years ago and drowning. He was dead for four minutes before they managed to get him out and resuscitate him, but the cerebral hypoxia he suffered still affects him. With his parents recently passed away, his little sister is sent to live with distant relatives across the country, while Jack breaks out his old skates and tries to re-start his career as figure skater.

VERSE 4: THE NOMAD

A:tLA AU, pre-war. Jack is an airbender hailing from the Southern Air Temple. He’s already earned his arrows and spends more time slacking off with his friends from the other nations than he does pretending to be a monk. Still, he adheres to their life values, and all of his fun is harmless anyways.

VERSE 5: THE CAPTAIN

Pirate!AU. Since being taken in as an amnesiac 13 year old boy washed up on the shore of some island, Jack’s called the Frostbite his home. He’s not exactly the most feared pirate to ever sail, but he’s certainly one of the more infamous ones.

VERSE 6: THE LIONHEART

Hogwarts!AU. Jack ‘Frost’ Overland is a 7th year Gryffindor. Accomplished wizard, captain of the Quidditch team — everybody’s dream. He would be a Prefect if it wasn’t common knowledge he would abuse his power to get away with his trickster tendencies. (He abuses other Prefect’s power to get away with it instead.)

VERSE 7: THE WINTER PRINCE

Cold is all Jack has ever known. Born as the only son to Father Frost and the future Bringer of Winter, there’s a certain responsibility lying on his shoulders. If responsibility was all it took to make him serious and regal however, then he’d be a poor candidate for the new Guardian. He spends most of his days slacking off in chilly places than he does helping his father, but he’s still a Prince even without a Kingdom, and he’s expected to act like one.
